The course “Psychology for SDGs(SDG11/12)” is designed to explore the intricate connections between psychology and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 11 and 12. In this course, students will delve into the critical role that psychology plays in fostering sustainable cities and communities (SDG 11) and encouraging responsible production and consumption patterns (SDG 12).
Through engaging lectures, case studies, and interactive discussions, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of how psychological principles can be applied to urban planning, community engagement, and the promotion of responsible production and consumption. They will explore the psychosocial factors influencing sustainable development in urban settings, considering the importance of community well-being, cultural preservation, and inclusive planning.
The course emphasizes the practical application of psychological knowledge to address real-world challenges.
