This course is designed to inform you all about the heat pump installer network, How we work and operate, the basics of air source heat pumps and how to carry out a technical assessment.You will get an introduction to HPIN explaining how it all works for you. We will explain why heat pumps are important part of the heating industry, government targets and incentives and how we can achieve net zero within our industry.
We will then look at the basics of the refrigeration cycle and how an air source heat pump can provide heating and hot water for our homes before delving into the different types of heat pump you may be asked to install as part of the het pump installer network.Finally we will look at our go canvas app available on Apple and Android and how we use this to complete a technical assessment of a customers property in order for our design team to plan, calculate and fully design an air source heat pump heating and hot water system for you to install.
There will be quizzes along the way to check your knowledge and understanding.
