Welcome to this free Blender 5 beginner bootcamp!
If you’ve always wanted to learn Blender but weren’t sure where to start, this is a simple, beginner-friendly introduction designed to help you get comfortable with the basics.
I’ve decided to release the first two sections of my full course, “4 Fun Projects in Blender 5 for Absolute Beginners,” completely free.
These first two sections are perfect if you only want to learn the fundamentals of Blender without jumping into anything too complicated. We’ll start right from the beginning, assuming you have little or no previous experience with Blender.
In the first section, we’ll get Blender installed and take a tour of the interface. You’ll learn how to navigate the 3D viewport and use some of the most important basic tools, including moving, rotating, and scaling objects. We’ll also take a first look at materials and how to give your objects different colors and appearances.
Then, in the second section, we’ll take things a step further with an introduction to Edit Mode. You’ll learn how to work with vertices, edges, and faces, and use those basic modeling tools to create a simple, cute cat.
The goal of this free bootcamp isn’t to overwhelm you with every feature Blender has to offer. Instead, it’s about giving you a solid starting point and helping you feel comfortable enough to start experimenting on your own.
